Enjoy the day downtown Benicia on the Marina Green. The city of Benicia was ranked the 4th dog friendliest city in the country by Dog Fancy Magazine. To celebrate this geat honor Benicia Main Street will be hosting "It is a Great Dog Day by the Bay" on Saturday August 28th from 10am to 2pm. All this is happening at the Marina Green on First Street. Meet Char and our volunteers and of course their adopted ex racers. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have about greyhound adoption.
Activities included dog contests, doggie treats, dog demonstrations and more. Free to the public. Enter your dog in the contests and a portion of the entry fees will be going to the Benicia Vallejo Humane Society.
